Speaking of the darkroom, last Thursday I attended a talk by Todd Hido over at GEH and was happy to hear that he still shoots film AND prints in the color darkroom. He even shared some of his contact sheets. I miss contact sheets. Photoshop contact sheets are so not the same thing. Oh well, enough of my nostalgic ramblings.
Are you in NYC? Hido’s show Fragmented Narratives is on view at Bruce Silverstein Gallery through February 12, 2011. You’ll have to let me know how it looks.
I came home with his book A Road Divided. A nice addition to my photobook collection.
