Knitting (for beginners): I have a confession to make. I have been working on the same pink knit-scarf for about five years now. FIVE YEARS! It’s one of those things where I pick it up only during the winter months and somehow while getting longer, it’s also getting wider, which is not supposed to happen. So, I think, the best thing to do is start over. Cast on! [I am so going to finish a scarf this winter!]

I googled “knitting tutorial” on youtube and found the video below which then brought me to this great blog, Manhattan Craft Room. Yay for the internet!

Mailing Tube Wine Rack: This past July this “diy project: mailing tube wine rack” post on Design*Sponge caught my eye. I have had it bookmarked since, and have yet to make a rack for myself! Well, it is officially back on my to-do list!
