I have a new post up on my blog 85eightysix and it’s a GOOD ONE! Concrete ring? Heck yes! GO. Check it out. Now.
Folks have asked if I will be selling the bags in my shop after the campaign is over. Since I designed the bags specifically for thank you gifts for my campaign funders, I’m waiting for the campaign to wrap up before adding them to my online shop. For now, donate $25 and receive a tote! THANKS!
The tote bags are handprinted by Hey Buddy! here in Rochester, NY.
With the holidays fast approaching (Thanksgiving here in the States is TOMORROW already!) I can’t help but think of making x-mas lists. I was in a toy store with my 4yr old niece the other day and she wanted nearly everything. I reminded her that although yes, Aunt Megan LOVES to spoil her, I cannot buy her everything she wants all the time. We started chatting about x-mas lists for Santa.
Personally, I have a year-long wish list of items I want (who doesn’t?), but that doesn’t stop me from becoming nostalgic this time of year. I remember as kids my siblings and I drawing up our x-mas lists and putting them in our stockings. Awww.
What’s on the top of your list this year?

Speaking of the web, have you heard of The Internet map?
“The Internet global network is a phenomenon of technological civilization, and its exceptional complexity surpasses anything mankind has ever created. In essence, what we are dealing with here is a huge quantity of utterly unstructured information. The Internet map is an attempt to look into the hidden structure of the network, fathom its colossal scale, and examine that which is impossible to understand from the bare figures of statistics.”

“The Manual captures the voices of our profession, both the well-known and the quietly working, as they bring clarity to the why of web design, share their visions, break our hearts, stretch our minds, and move us to deeper, smarter, richer work.” – The Manual
Coming up on their fourth issue, I am just finding out about The Manual. Really, where have I been? I love that this beautifully printed journal is a publication about the web. Adding to shopping cart now…

I bought a bunch of these “Designy Temporary Tattoos” over the summer and for the life of me I don’t know why it’s taken me so long to put one on! I can tell you now though that I am HOOKED. Though I have a few permanent tattoos, these Tattlys are sure fun to play with.
