Happy Monday! Here are a couple of more artists I have added to MVWL. Enjoy!
1. Andy Singleton: Wow. Really, what else is there to say? These paper cuts are AMAZING! I was reminded of Singleton’s work last week when he was featured on design*sponge. Be sure to check out his website for more of his work and some close-up photos of this sweet piece!
“Dust Clouds in the Eagle Nebula”
Hand cut 180 gsm paper
2. Megan Whitmarsh: I really enjoy looking into the workspaces of other artists. It’s a really nice way to gain insight into their work/process. Here, Whitmarsh makes the workspace Art. Be sure to check out her website for more of her work.
“Color Work Station (installation detail)”
Fabric, cardboard, luan, wood, embroidery, marker, vinyl, wire, stuffing, paint
Well, that’s it for today! Have you seen any of the work above in person? What did you think?
my viewing “wish list” is a weekly post where I share artists’ work I would LOVE LOVE LOVE to see in person! Staring at a computer screen is just not the same.
NOTE: All of the images above were screenshots from the sourced websites. If any artists or galleries would like the images removed please do not hesitate to contact me directly (firstname.lastname@example.org) and I will remove them ASAP. Images are for educational use. Thank you.
