Seriously, this “Electronic Instant Camera” by Niklas Roy is awesome, in every sense of the word. “I had a thermal receipt printer lying around in my workshop – and a tiny videocamera module. It was obvious that they should marry.” I’m so glad Niklas felt that way, can you imagine the two apart now? Check out this video of the camera in action. Would you sit still for a 3 min portrait?
Side note: When I first saw this on BOOOOOOOM! I instantly thought of Christopher Baker’s “Murmur Study”. Gotta love those thermal printers.
