MVWL – Matt Lee

November 26, 2010

Happy Friday!! Here is my biweekly addition to my viewing “wish list”. Enjoy!!

Matt Lee: I came across Lee’s Presence of Absence project a couple of days ago and would love to see a print in person! As you scroll through the series this looming black mass is present, sometimes more understated, but still there. I can’t help but stare at the black void, almost hoping to see something, trying to figure out why it is there and what it’s hiding.

Check out his website to view more of his work.

Have you seen any of Lee’s work in person? What did you think?

my viewing “wish list” is a bi-weekly post where I share artists’ work I would LOVE LOVE LOVE to see in person! Staring at a computer screen is just not the same.

NOTE: All of the images above are from the sourced websites. If any artists or galleries would like the images removed please do not hesitate to contact me directly (megan@megancharland.com) and I will remove them ASAP. Images are for educational use. Thank you.
